Universal seems to be planning ahead for yet another new “comedic” show inside the ill-fated Castle Theater. Rumors point to a show similar to that of the Special Effects Stages and Florida’s Horror Make-up Show.

The new show is a cinematic adventure co-hosted by two exceptionally comedic and likable hosts. Although the show is all about filmmaking, it is also a dynamic and educational theatrical experience. The show pits old school special effects against today’s digital techniques and effectively demystifies the process so that it is understandable to all.

Breakdowns:

Host 1 – Conservative Tech guru, personable, able to play 30 – 50 years old.

Host 2 – Fun-loving, quick-witted, tech-savvy hipster, able to play 20 something.

Both roles require excellent acting and improvisational skills, with superior comedic timing. Should have strong stage-presence; audience interaction experience a plus.

Must be available for all rehearsals and Summer peak. Bring headshot and resume. Prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue and 1 joke/anecdote. Call backs are April 12, 2010.
