Star Wars Launch Bay opened this past weekend and will serve as the central locale for guests to celebrate all things Star Wars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Guests may encounter Star Wars characters such as Jawas and Stormtroopers, play the latest Star Wars interactive video games, check out memorabilia and authentic replicas of large-scale Star Wars artifacts, including ones from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and have access to Star Wars merchandise.

Guests initially queue up before entering to see a short film going over the history of Star Wars, its impact on the culture and film, and hype-up the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” film. The queue is adorned with concept art spanning across the 7 films, and included many from famed illustrator Ralph McQuarrie.

Once inside, guests can line up again to meet either Chewbacca or Darth Vader, or even pose for pictures in a small mock-up of the Mos Eisley Cantina.

Much of the Launch Bay features a lot of props and models from the 2 previous trilogies, as well as featuring many of props from the upcoming The Force Awakens. You’ll be able to see a life-size prop of Anakin’s podracer from “Episode 1: The Phantom Menace”, a Speederbike from “Return of the Jedi”, and the lightsabers and weapons of many of the characters, including new villain Kylo Ren’s unique lightsaber.

If you’re looking to invest in some art, toys, and memorabilia, the Launch Bay offers a lot of that, even including a Stromtrooper costume for $1,800.
