Universal Orlando has announced that popular TV show, FX’s American Horror Story, is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 26!
The house is slated to feature scenes and characters from Season 1 (Murder House), Season 4 (Freak Show), and Season 5 (Hotel); so get ready to meet Twisty the Clown in the flesh.
American Horror Story will be this year’s “Uber-Maze”; a maze that is much larger than normal, i.e. last year’s Monsters & Mayhem. Twisted scenes from Murder House will unleash the evil spirits that possess the Harmon estate, spiraling guests through decades of the tortured dead who previously resided there. In Freak Show, guests will join a troupe of biological misfits in a sinister sideshow where they’ll be stalked by the murderous and deformed Twisty the Clown. Finally, guests will succumb to the warped desires of The Countess after checking in to the haunted Hotel Cortez, conceived from the beginning as a torture chamber for its customers.
Created by Ryan Murphy, American Horror Story is an anthology format TV show, where each season features a unique storyline, setting, and characters. Debuting in 2011, American Horror Story has won 13 Emmys, two Golden Globes, four Critics’ Choice Awards and one People’s Choice Award. Season 6 is slated to premiere on Sept 14th.
