Universal Orlando has re-opened the often-closed Green Eggs and Ham Cafe inside Seuss Landing, revamping its offerings and featuring a brand-new menu.

Originally serving sandwiches and chicken fingers – including a Green Eggs and Ham sandwich platter; the new menu boasts a variety of different tater tot plates.

During our visit, we tried the two most traditional “Seuss” dishes – Who-Hash and the Green Eggs and Ham tots platter. The Green Eggs and Ham platter is solid, with the “green” coming from pesto sauce, giving the eggs a nice tang. The tots themselves are crispy, the cheese sauce is savory, and the ham offers the right salty kick. The Who-Hash, which is served in its very own Who-Hash can, is a bit similar in taste but comes with scallions, which adds a nice bite; but all the toppings are on top so it’s mostly cheese sauce and tots after you’re halfway through.

Other variations include Buffalo Chicken, S’Mores & Nutella, and Pizza Tots – a spin-off of Horror Nights favorite, Pizza Fries. All dishes range between $10-14.Universal has not confirmed if the Cafe will remain permanently open or just a temporary offering during the busier seasons.
