Construction is currently going on behind the Blues Brothers stage. They're painting the back buliding to resemble a soundstage.

Finally, something that was done right!!!
I hated the long lasting Grinch clouds which had floating windows in the sky with the Hulk KABOOM! and Mummy sand all around. What a cluster f**k. Aren't the Blues Brother supposed to be in Chicago?

My friend said it correctly, this park is a tossed salad. You can truly tell that there was not an overall idea of how the park should evolve, they just did whatever was cheapest. It is definatly time once again like the early 80's where a park wide refurb needs to happen to help focus on theme in a THEME PARK! The only walkable area that is remotely themed is Parisian Courtyard.

I feel Blues Brothers should return to a street show similar to Florida. Blues Bothers should never be a main attraction...please! The poor actors for that show keep getting stiffed.

I thought about this as well. I actually think this is a good thing. Hollywood isn't exactly like Disneyland where everything is immersive. It's Hollywood. Everything is fake and if you turn a corner, it's something else. You can be looking at a western set and behind you is a Little Europe set. So in a way, it fits. The set is only constructed what the camera needs to see. Nothing less, nothing more.

I'm a few months old on this one, but it looks like they refreshed the set again with some technical improvements, probably due in part to the increase in street performances in front of the stage.

It's a small change, and a good one at that.

Oh God, no. I see what you mean, but that stage is so pathetic. I think I missed it twice when I browsed that street. I like the theming, but it's just so pathetic for the performers.
