Splash Down
I've always wondered why they've reduced the splash down to a drizzle. The wet zone next to the final drop was never as it used to be compared to the years before the recent refurbishment. The new brakes may be safer compared with the original, but you would of thought they could come up with something that would comply with safety issues and still provide a large splash for riders.

RE: Splash Down
The mechanism is able to go lower to provide a bigger splash on hotter days. And raise higher in colder days for less splash. According to the weather. It was done due in part for safety and to adjust to CA's weather seasons. I also miss the large splash at the end, sigh. People complained too much about getting completely soaked...

Wow, like the huge splash down near the entrance of the Starway and the multiple warning signs didn't give it away.
