Terminator 2:3D Refurbishment

I've been told that Terminator 2:3D will be closed for the week of March 19 for refurbishment.

I have not verified whether the source is accurate, so please use this information as a guide for now.

I have also heard that T-2 is undergoing refurb. It needs it. I have been told that the show will get all new seats and a nice new fresh paint job to replace that god awful color scheme on the building. It has been said that the big wigs from NBC Universal are coming to town.

I just hope they take care of the queue more then anything else. Those monitor encasements need to have their filters cleaned, since it's clearly not filtering out the dust properly. It's also extremely hard (See here) to see the queue video because of those glare resistant coating they put on all their monitors. (I did however see some improvements on my last visit.)

I have seen the scale down ideas for the refurb. Now all the seats will be cleaned instead of replaced. Extended queue #4 is going to be removed for a short time for a display. T2 will also be closed for a day or two for this special GE event which is shelling out mega bucks to be inside of the T2 theater and Globe Theater. I have also heard that the Globe will be getting a brand new floor which will become permanent. GE has also requested that when they have thier press event inside T2, there should be no notice that its the Terminator theater. There is extensive decorationg going on for this event.
