I agree. I have had many dreams and thoughts on an updated JAWS. However, not until there would be sufficient money to make, nothing will change. Remember we did get an update a few years ago which added the fire effects and the diver. That is the extent of what will ever change unless a new movie comes out and is a hit. Yeah right!

Truth be told, they should really keep it the way it is. Despite what others may say, it's a instrumental part of Universal Studios Hollywood's history. I like to think of it as our version of Disney's "It's a Small World" - though not as long and certainly more bearable. Yeah, cheesy effects all around, but that's the main reason we still love it.
We don't have enough classic attractions as is, and with the classic Kong out of the picture, JAWS is really the last remaining thing we have.
