Note the OutaTime plates are already removed, at least someone got a piece of history before the crusher eats them up whole

Hey Skillz, maybe you could answer a question for me... Do you know what is going to ultimatly happen to the BTTF Cars in that field? Are they going to recycle them, sell then, or auction them off? I'd be really interested in purchasing one if the price was decent.

Well, Gold Cylon posted the photos of the graveyard. His pictures are from Universal Florida hense the attraction has already been removed.

Universal Hollywood BTTF still operates and is scheduled to close at the end of summer 2007. I think the best place to possibly see the Hollywood graveyard would be at the Universal Wherehouse off the 134 freeway near Glendale. I have only been there once and USH keeps a lot of cool junk over there from past attractions.

My friend that took those photos said more than likely they will be sold off for scrap. He has looked all over the place for the rest of the car, like the dash, and seat, and engine section, but nothing at all. He thinks that has already been destroyed and thrown in the trash dumpsters.

RE: Behind the scenes at BTTF...
Remember the low budget for the Simpsons attraction. The seats and the scissor lift are going to remain in the attraction. Only the DeLorean coverings have been removed and a new "Simpson's" covering will be created.

Sounds like what was done to the E.T. to The Mummy ride, or is the Mummy still around?

RE: Behind the scenes at BTTF...
It's nothing like the Mummy and ET. ET was completely removed and The Mummy was an entirely new attraction built in an existing building. Similar to Shrek 4-D.

BTTF will have the same ride and building structure. The screen will be kept and the cars will remain. Only the video and basic coverings will be changed. Expect the Simpsons to still load exactly like BTTF.
