New Preshow Ticker Script

I've been told that the preshow ticker located in the preshow room at Terminator 2:3D has a new script for guests to read before the Kimberly comes out. The ticker has also been given a new name "VIC" for Visual Intelligence Computer (as told). New guest interactions include audience clapping, and new color combinations.

This has always been a stupid idea. I understand that guests are bored during the preshow, but this is going too far out of character for the show. I hate that the text during the preshow has ruined all the humor. Florida does not do this. I enjoy Florida's design to accomodate deaf guests. However, the supervisor for T2 here in Hollywood does not agree with me.

I actually enjoy the preshow ticker, but not in the way it's presented. A large scale corporation like Cyberdyne should always have the latest technology within it's headquarters, and the LED ticker just doesn't cut it. It's just too 1990's.

Present it in another way, with a technologically advanced LCD screen, or something to create the illusion of something expensive you wouldn't want to touch.

Oh, the video walls aren't going to cut it either. The Cyberdyne logo has been burned in after all these years of use. Come on now, it's 2007. Use Plasmas. I don't see anyone else using video walls anymore.

Its corny entertainment value for the guests while waiting for the preshow to load. It works very well, and gets many laughs, but it distracts from the show quality.

USH has had many complaints of how long the preshow is and the guests do not believe its a part of the show. I feel this is because there is so little excitment going on at USH for the average So Cal guest. So Cal wants roller coasters...and even Revenge of the Mummy is laughed at.

You should see the sign they have at the end of the queue on BTTF! I may have to get a pic of it for you unless someone here has it???
