RE: I HAVE BEEN WONDERING...
It's usually open during busy seasons, such as Summer.

RE: I HAVE BEEN WONDERING...
The filimg on location sign is a huge LIE. This is one thing I do not like about Universal. The show is OFF THE AIR!!!!
They close the show off season due to its as expensive as Waterworld and it's HORRIBLE!!!!! ![]() USH Employee 1998-2003 Show Host Lead (all shows) BTTF The Ride, T2:3-D, Nickelodeon Blast Zone, Chicken Run, The Grinch, The Mummy Returns, Starway Escalator, Special Effect Stages. |

RE: I HAVE BEEN WONDERING...
Yeah, the sign is a load of crap. But it's better than "Closed because not enough people care."
For what it's worth it should be open from now onwards. Panda begs to differ! |

RE: I HAVE BEEN WONDERING...
I am waiting to see if Fear Factor will stay open once BTTF closes. Universal does care about how many attractions they have open for guests. I have seen this when an attraction will close for unforeseen circumstances and they will add show performances elsewhere. They also frequently add show performances when the guests counts are higher than estimated.
One big factor I saw was after they had closed Wild West Stunt Show, they reopened it for the July 4th weekend because guests counts were higher than expected and they knew they did not have enough venues to accomodate all guests. Universal has thier own spreadsheet which calculates number of guests versus how many available seats a show can hold. More shows will be on a schedule because more guests are in the park. If the park underestimates the guest count, shows are added. If a show gets cancelled, shows are added. If a show fills up and there are a significant amount of guests turned away prior to showtime, shows are added. However, if the last show of the night cancels, you're out of luck. USH many years ago used to have a constant 14 main venues of attractions. This has since changed to 12 in 2000. Now the park runs a nearly double the ticket price for minus 2 attractions in the park. Notice to this day Wild West is still nothing but a major dead area smack in the middle of the park. Very poor in my eyes. All of this accounts to longer wait times in the park and cost savings and managment. ![]() USH Employee 1998-2003 Show Host Lead (all shows) BTTF The Ride, T2:3-D, Nickelodeon Blast Zone, Chicken Run, The Grinch, The Mummy Returns, Starway Escalator, Special Effect Stages. |
