RE: Outdated?
I would love to see Universal update their current video walls with this:
http://www.datacenterresources.com/Contr...eo%20Cubes

Or even this setup:
http://www.datacenterresources.com/Contr...Plasma.asp

But plasmas are bound to have worser cases of burn in then what we currently have.

RE: Outdated?
that would look way better than what are in there know... Universal would just have to take care of those ones more if they burn easier.

To be honest the Plasma Setup would be better. The issue with burn in occurs when a static image is left on screen for too long. Plasmas have a temp burn in but when you shut off the screen and let it sit for a few min, it goes away. I absolutely think the plasmas would be great, but are cost prohibitive.

Which would probably be the Cyberdyne logo.

Not if the image is displayed for extended periods of time, in any case would be permanent. The Plasma monitors at airports are a great example of this occurring.

All three Terminator 2: 3D attractions have this specific problem - so it isn't a flaw with our version alone.

RE: Outdated?
Well, few months after this thread's original post, Universal decided to listen to our suggestions. They've decided to do a complete overhaul of one of the video walls. So far they've taken out the six monitors and replaced it with one large projection screen. Whether or not this is the actual screen, I don't know (wasn't in action) – but it's definitely a step in the right decision. As far I know, we're the only T2:3D to get this upgrade.

They’ve also decided to replace the video wall located in the studio store near the entrance.

Kudos to them.
