RE: Orlando version closing?
That's pretty possible. Though I'll take it with a grain of salt until it's confirmed by another source other then Wikipedia.

Future Attractions
Terminator 4-D: The Future Begins, a new version of the park's original Terminator attraction, with updated themes and new water effects, will open in 2009.

Is there any info on that?

Whaaaaat?!?!?! I hope this is true. That'd be awesome if we could update the effects at Hollywood, too. Some people see it and say, "Oh, it's just 3-D?"

When in fact it is true 4-D. This attraction just happened to be created before the whole 4-D craze theme parks went into a few years back. I find Terminator to be more 4-D than Shrek.

That is true, especially since we have live actors running around the theater. But, I think that guests expect more seat movement and similar effects when they think of a 4-D attraction.

RE: Orlando version closing?
I went to Universal Studios Florida during my Florida trip (got back yesterday). I asked the staff about the rumours about the T23D attraction closing and they said it was absolutely not true.

Btw, I got some privileges over there as being a huge Terminator fan and they let the cast come over to me after the show. Got the chance to shoot a lot of pictures and I will work it out. In the mean time, here's a sneak preview:

Wowwww. You got a picture with all of them! In USH the VIP/Gate A people are lucky if they get Kimberley to join in the picture after the post-show besides the usual Terminator & John photos.

I was actually VERY lucky. Got 56 pics with me and the cast (pics of of all of them with me, and pics of each actor/actress with me). I also filmed the whole meeting. I have pics of me with the Cyberdyne security. Filmed the whole Cyber Image store and T23D wardrobe, even filmed the Terminator penny press machine. Filmed the whole pre-show twice and the queue area video completely (with a slight pause of about 20 seconds to change the battery).

I'm currently working on the video for my Terminator sites. When it's ready and online, I will also post it here if you all like.

As you can imagine, it was a fantastic experience for me as big Terminator fan.

My video is ready and we're trying to finish the article and upload as soon as possible. Running time is 22:05, so it has become a little fandocumentary. :-)
