Orlando version closing?
Hi there folks, my first post here. I read on wikipedia (the least reliable source, I know) that the Terminator ride would be closing for good shortly after the Simpsons opens to make room for some new 4-D show. Anybody know if there's any validity to this? I can't seem to find any more info on it.

RE: Orlando version closing?
Hi there and firstly welcome to the boards.
I don't think any of us know what the truth is on this matter yet. I'm sure that it'll be clearer in the new year, someone will blow away the rumour or confirm it. www.amityisland.net ![]() www.kongride.co.cc |

RE: Orlando version closing?
This information has been passed around here already. We are waiting to hear some final word. All we can confirm is that this rumor has begun.

RE: Orlando version closing?
I highly doubt that it will. Every time I go, It is so crowded. I think it is a great ride, and they should not close it. They are already spending too much money. (Simpsons, Harry Potter, Disaster)
Save BTTF! |

RE: Orlando version closing?
Florida's version looks old and tired compared with Hollywood's. Florida – I could honestly see going, but Hollywood's a different story. Why take the time and money to upgrade something (preshow screen, and queue monitors) only to take them away? Doesn’t seem logical to me.
Carl Laemmle Wrote:"...just think what this would mean..to see the inner workings of the biggest moving picture plant in the wide, wide world. See how we have to use the brains God gave us in every conceivable way in order to make the people laugh, cry or sit on the edge of their chairs the world over!" |

RE: Orlando version closing?
I agree that is very true. However, if they use the existing theater and make a new attraction, similar to BTTF, why would Hollywood not go for the money and change too?
If they remove Terminator in Orlando, please destroy the entire attraction and build anew!!! No rehash crap! ![]() USH Employee 1998-2003 Show Host Lead (all shows) BTTF The Ride, T2:3-D, Nickelodeon Blast Zone, Chicken Run, The Grinch, The Mummy Returns, Starway Escalator, Special Effect Stages. |

RE: Orlando version closing?
If they do, I hope I'll be able to see Florida's version before they tear it down. I wasn't able to during my first/last visit to Orlando. :( Did I miss much?
