Parking Prices compared to Downtown Disney

Here is the parking for Citywalk Hollywood:
Parking With Validation
1st hour and a half - FREE
1 1/2 to 2 hours - $5.00
$2.50 each additional 1/2 hour
Maximum rate is $22.00

Parking without Validation
1st half hour - $10.00
$2.50 each additional 1/2 hour
Maximum rate is $22.00
(Max rate applies after 2 1/2 hours hrs)

Downtown Disney parking prices:
Your first three hours of parking are FREE. An additional two hours can be validated at AMC Theatres® and at table-service dining restaurants. After that, the cost is $6 for each additional hour, charged in 20-minute increments.

This is my gripe with Universal Citywalk. Immediatly in the gate you are already paying $10. Additional time can be up to $22! DD had three hours free and up to 5 hours free if you dine or see a movie! Wait a minute, my choice would be with Downtown Disney. Come on Universal, even Universal Florida and DD Orlando has FREE parking!!!

Also, have you ever seen where Universal charges for cars departing the parking lot??? Therefore I do not understand how the first 1 1/2 hours are free with validation??? Maybe I do not know something.

The Parking Price information you have mentioned is informative.The First hour in the city walk holyday is free,While in Downtown Disney first 3 hours will be free for the parking so i think its more comfortable that the previous one.
