You know, I'm just not completely sure. I voted a cheap refit but I'm trying to believe that they'll really put some effort in. And of course on the other hand I think that it's universal and FOX combined and we all know that they're a bit money orientated, thinking it's a popular brand so it should be popular no matter how much effort was put in.

RE: I think the Simpsons will...
Here is what is interesting to me...

Back to the Future was the #1 turnstile count in the entire park. In part to the foot traffic flow was higher in front of this attraction than any other in the park due to the Starway Escalator. Also, this is not a water ride and it has the most accessible height restriction.

I want to see if Simpson's has the same effect. Or, is the ride going to have such a negative effect that it won't have any wait time at all?

I personally do not find it interesting to see a cell animated attraction. I liked the motion control miniatures of Back to the Future. I do not think the Simposon's will be a hit. But I do think it will be bigger at USH than Orlando.

I personally find that the re-ride factor will be low for this attraction and I do not think that people are going to flock in numbers through the turnstiles for Simpson's. There isn't a "cool" factor like BTTF.

RE: I think the Simpsons will...
I voted the first option.. but that is based on the fact that I am a HUGE Simpsons fan, and that ride would surely make me want to go back to Universal just to ride it..

I mean seriously, When i was there last weekend, I went into the Kwik-E-Mart and spent $38 on a 6 pack of Duff Energy Drink, and one Flaming Moe... $38!!

So, I think it will be good. But if you're not a fan of the Simpsons, then obviously it would be pointless.

Although, I also think it will have a life-span of less than 15 years.

Simply because the Simpsons are pretty much out of style for the new generation (Those below 20)

Now it's all about Family guy and South Park.

RE: I think the Simpsons will...
i dont think the ride is gonna do to well. it will prolly have alot of crowds at first but all new rides do. and idk bout anyone else but in my mind Universal and Simpsons just dont click i always think of Universal as big name classics like Terminator, Jurassic Park, The Mummy. I know Terminator isnt a Universal movie but still it fits.

RE: I think the Simpsons will...
Well, It depends. Simpsons can be considered a big name thing. It is an extremely long running TV Program, with a lot of history. Video games, t-shirts, all kinds of stuff. It has a HUGE past, and following. But, it is slipping in popularity now-a-days unfortunately...

RE: I think the Simpsons will...
I think the Simpsons will be more popular 15 years after it stops creating new episodes than BTTF will be 15 years after the last movie was made. Face it, BTTF was the most dated attractions in the park, a lot of kids did not know what the movies were. The only reason it was so popular was that there isn't much to do at USH, it hardly ever had a line at USF.
