WOW!

I saw the destruction in person today. It was much much worse than I imagined; it was great to see the courthouse still standing though! But alas, the tour just wasn't the same without Kong :'(

Whatever they replace it with, it had better not be as stupid as the Fast and Furious "attraction", why didn't that burn to the ground instead!! Why!!

I also managed to get more photos on the Studio Tour last Saturday morning. Got to ride the first tram of the day! And with enough time before my shift started. Amazingly, this tour lasted the usual 45 minutes. Besides the parts that burned down, the Red Sea/Skull Island and Lyon Estates was cut out of the tour because there's no access to it.

I know. On my way in everyone would stop on the walkway or take a look through the binoculars because it's the first thing you see on your way to the tour. Although, it's nice to see that Courthouse Square and some of the facades are untouched. It's an interesting to see the contrast between the green grass of the Square next to the burned remains of the other buildings and vehicles.
