The Simpsons Ride - Reviews

Well, I voted Fantastic... but my opinion has a heavy bias; currently training to be Krusty Krewmember, wooo!!
Anyway... Yeah, I love the ride. Soooo many parodies (for once not all Disney!) and in-jokes. It's wonderfully fast paced, yet manages to keep a somewhat coherent story throughout. From the queues to the midways, funhouses to the actually ride vehicles, it's fun all the way. The guests always (for the most part) seem to be laughing along. And almost all have giant beaming grins as they exit the ride, so I guess that means Universal did a good job! Panda begs to differ! |

I wish Universal did so much more with the queue. I mean, it's the Simpsons - so much potential it's not even funny.
Looking back at the photos I took, there's still some minor problems with the queue that still exist within the new ride.

I actually think the line is pretty good. I'd have made the video loop a bit longer, it's only 30 minutes or so... could probably have made it one hour long easily enough...
What problems are you referring to in the queue? Maybe we could work on them! :) Panda begs to differ! |

Well the ride was fantastic, and for me, the queue is one of those rare times where I can enjoy standing in line.

It mostly has to do with structural issues they tried to hide by painting over.

The corroded paint on the stairway -
The ceiling tiles on the third floor - Just a few I could get pictures of. Now don't get me wrong, the indoor queue and ride are exceptional. Only theme park junkies would notice these.

They are slowly starting to repaint the ground in front of the ride. It will take a while though since the ride will not be closed and they have to do one small area at a time.
