How is that possible? There is no longer an exit for the tram with Collapsing Bridge.

RE: Collapsing Bridge
There is a roll-up door big enough for the tram on the side of the Kong tunnel (last couple times I've seen an operator/security guy sitting next to it inside the tunnel.) The tram would cross the bridge and exit through the Kong tunnel, leaving in the opposite direction it would normally enter for Kong.

RE: Collapsing Bridge
I stand corrected. I have been told this information to be true. If Kong goes down for refurb, the bridge will be available for use to replace Kong. Kinda sucks, but its a start!

RE: Collapsing Bridge
Hmm, interesting concept. I'm guessing they're not willing to use both for the sake of costs or tram traffic?

RE: Collapsing Bridge
Ya its a good plan from what i hear Kong goes down quite a bit throughout the day and a major sensor snapped off the door to the exit because of all the movement of the tram and also loud audio moving the entire building. The traffic would be way to heavy if both attractions were running.

RE: Collapsing Bridge
Also with all the crowds coming to see Kong they need to move trams through the lot faster, and frankly the bridge isnt that exciting. Not worth it to have it open and add more time to the ride. Plus staffing thats one less lead needed, or one more lead working the huge lines.

When I was there the week before Kong opened. We went on the bridge and went around the Kong building, right pass the Kong exit.

RE: Collapsing Bridge
Sounds like a good compromise. At least they're willing to keep it maintained...for the most part.
