trip to USF
Sorry, but couldn't find back the sections about Universal Studios Florida & Japan. So if this is completely wrong post, just delete it.

I'm going to USF in September, coming whole the way from the Netherlands. But now I have a question regarding buying the tickets. As I said we're going to the park on September 22nd. Is it really crowded in that period? Because should I buy a normal ticket? Or perhaps an express plus ticket (I thought it was only $20 more expensive than a regular ticket)?

And does anyone have any advice for me what the best (and cheapest) way to buy my tickets?

btw, any other advice for tickets to Disney World Magic Kingdom, Kennedy Space Centre, Bush Garden and Everglades is also welcome!

They've been merged under the "NBC Universal" forum.

Should be relatively tame thanks to the schools. Don't quote me on that though.

I used Orbitz to book everything for my last trip to Florida. This included plane tickets, hotels, rental cars, and a ticket package to Universal Orlando. You can usually save by buying in bulk.

Busch Gardens should have free beer at the hospitality center. Wink2

Do not spend the extra money for the express ticket. But you do want to buy your tickets online. You will save a little money with an online ticket. I have done it with no problem.

Make sure to buy a park hopper only if you plan one day at the parks. If you are there multiple days, then only buy singls park tickets.

Too bad you cannot see ther better T2:3D in Hollywood!!! :P

The Disney parks in Orlando are good, but its a better bang for your buck in California!

Because it's not crowded or what's the reason not to spend money for the express tickets?

I don't know really the meaning of the hopper ticket. I just plan to spend 1 day in Universal Studios Florida and perhaps 1 day in Disney World Magic Kingdom regarding Orlando. Then 1 day in Bush Garden, 1 day Everglades...

Damn. True. But I'd love to see all versions of T23D, even the Japanese one. But since I don't live in the USA or Japan, travelling to the T23D attraction is a bit expensive. Perhaps on a long-term period....

RE: trip to USF
It will be more difficult to spend only one day at Universal Orlando. There is so much to do for one day, especially if you have long lines. If the lines are short, you may make it work. In the morning, Islands of Adventure seems to to get the early traffic. USF is quieter in the morning. If the park hours are 9am-6pm it will be difficult to see everything unless the lones are short.

A park hopper ticket allows for you to hop between parks on the same day. A good deal if you plan for a one day visit.

I'm not going to Island of adventures, only Universal Studios Florida. Well, as people said, in Sptember it should be more quiet and calm in the park. So I don't think I will need a pass. Someone told me about the fast passes thing, I have to look up some info about that, 'cause it's not completely clear to me.

Thanks for the replies guys!
