High Definition Camcorder
Anyone have a proper high definition camera?
Thinking of getting one to film some serious videos for this website, but I'm not sure the investment is worth it.

RE: High Definition Camcorder
I would recommend the Canon HV40. It shoots in HD as well as 24p, which gives it the "film" look. Here is the link for one... I'll have mine in a few weeks for film school.

I know what you mean.. That's why it's taken me so long to finally get mine. Well worth it though, IMO

RE: High Definition Camcorder
That looks good, what type of videos are you looking to shoot? From reviews it looks like it gives really good picture, good image stabilization, good low light, good zoom and sound, and easy to use! That all sounds very durable for theme park use.

I have an old HDR-SR1 HDD Sony camcorder. Only 1080i, but it has been my camera for the last 3 1/2 years.

Just looking to film some better YouTube videos for the site. Still searching though.
