Page Discussion: Special Effects Stage
Quote:It’s good, it’s good. There are many things that I love about this show and other things I wish they could have avoided. Universal bills this as a “tongue in check” look at Hollywood magic but I would say otherwise. Like some failed attempts at presenting humor in the past, they always seemed to rely on canned jokes. Simply put, if you build up the hype and use jokes that were obviously written before hand, it’s not going to work.

Have not seen a full show yet. I was dumped after the opening of the show. Will comment later.

The show I is better than the old one I think (not too long or short) its funny at least the first time and its cool to see it but I hope they can find a place to put it so that we can get another Big show in that Theater in the next year or two.

I think its current location is permanent. We haven't had a truly remarkable attraction in that venue for many years now, so I think they're going to stick with what they have.

If anything, they should build a new building for another show but I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon - if you know what I mean.

Hmm, I don't think they're going to do anything with the amphitheater as well. It's still an excellent venue with fantastic acoustics.

If anything, they could redo the Wild West area.

RE: Page Discussion: Special Effects Stage
I doubt if the amphitheater is going anywhere. It has been a part of Universal for many years and they will not lose the possible revenue from that venue. It does suck though, I wish they would build a state of the art theater somewhere else on the property and give up this space for the theme park.
