I always thought flash photography was prohibited - or at least, given the notion.
Guess I'll try it next time.

yeah I have only done that a couple of times, I think it depends on how busy the park is....and today it was SUPER busy so I think they didn't care as much since they were too busy doing other stuff

I too have taken photo on JP. You run the risk of water damage, but think about it... what are they going to do to you?

I've always been under the impression that they would stop your ride or remind you over the public address system.
Probably my biggest fear when it comes to taking pictures on rides.

The worst thing which ever took place for me was in Orlando on JP. They announced over the speakers to put the video camera away, but I never did. JAWS the ride tends to be a very hot topic on video cameras.
