Are you kidding me?!
http://www.universalstudioshollywood.com/tickets.html

Quote:General Admission - $72.00
Discounted Admission (Under 48") - $62.00

It doesn't apply to locals, but still...? At some point, non-locals will stop going to Universal altogether.

RE: Are you kidding me?!
^this summer has been the busiest I've seen Universal in years.
Im sure that they'll have over 2 million more people than they did last year.
Its mainly cause Disneyland just raised prices, also as long as APs do go up im ok.

RE: Are you kidding me?!
As long as we do not match Disney anymore, I will be fine. Although, $72 is far too much for USH when Wild West theater is empty.

RE: Are you kidding me?!
^ That's the thing, we do match Disneyland now in terms of a ticket price.

RE: Are you kidding me?!
No, Disney just went to $76. That is why USH went to $72

RE: Are you kidding me?!
^we'll most the time you can get deals on tickets and get two tickets for the price of one, if your buying them from the gate unless your getting an AP your getting ripped off....but since I have gotten the AP the last few years its not a bad deal at all.

By the way the New price for the highest AP is 130.00 but if you renew right now its only 120.00, plus you get 6 months extra not a bad deal.

RE: Are you kidding me?!
Prices went up...again.

Via Screamscape.

Quote:(8/16/10) I’m not quite sure what is going on but Universal Studios Hollywood has snuck in a second ticket price increase less than two weeks after they had just raised their prices following Disney’s increase. The new ticket prices posted on their website show a jump from $72 to $74 for adult tickets and $62 to $64 for child tickets. While the prices are still less than Disneyland, what gives upping the price twice in less than two weeks?! Hoping no one would notice perhaps?

Carl Laemmle Wrote:"...just think what this would mean..to see the inner workings of the biggest moving picture plant in the wide, wide world. See how we have to use the brains God gave us in every conceivable way in order to make the people laugh, cry or sit on the edge of their chairs the world over!"
