RE: What will Universal be like in the future?
I wonder what the crowds are like over at Islands of Adventure now that the last Harry Potter movie was released. Can't imagine the crowds - combined with the fact that it's currently summer.

I have heard that crowds are strong, but no where near what they were for opening week last year. HP still manages an average 90 min wait per day.

We need more differentiation among the parks. There needs to be that incentive to go to Florida and Hollywood. Peter Pan gts lines...and its not new, same as Indy and other rides at the Disney parks...If the ride is good and the story is from a REAL classic like Potter it will live on for a long...long time

I guess that could be the case, but look at Back to the Future in its last days. Sure, lines were long - but they weren't Disney long.
I just think Disney has a certain hold on classic attractions Universal can't imitate at the present. Perhaps in ten years, but not now. Plus, I think certain Disney attractions age better - for whatever reason.

I think Avatar fits perfectly with Disney and the Animal Kingdom. Great choice. Next.
