Wild West Stunt Show is gone!

The word around the street is that Universal finally demolished the Wild Western set inside the theater of the Wild West Stunt Show. A sad day for memories of the old park. I was told this was done to make more space for Grinchmas 2010 and future special events.

I am glad there is effort to do something, but I can still imagine its being done half assed. I doubt if the theater walls are being removed or if much of the area is reimagined at all.

Given how much time is left till Grinchmas, I also doubt they'll do anything besides clearing the area. Wish they would. There's so much potential for that space.

But lets be real that area could really do with a Big retheme. The western st held no real use for Universal Studios anymore. The shops across from it have been close for about 2 years i want to say. So lets do some work Hollywood. Step your game up.

I agree the whole western area is just a complete waste of space that should get more attention. And I understand how Waterworld was kinda of a similar show, but I don't understand why they got rid of it. I far as I was aware the show was still popular.

If you ever go see the Wild West Stunt Show at Knott's, they use some of the old jokes from Universal's version.

I hear there were issues with sanitation in the theater, so that could of led to the main reason why Fear Factor Live went inside the Castle, unlike its brethren in Florida.

For whatever reason, it's almost been a decade since that theater was occupied with something meaningful. Simply inexcusable on the part of management.

So does this mean this space will no longer be used for a maze for HHN?

Management has taken to long and that's why park numbers have been on the decline till recently.
