RE: USH CAN Grow Bigger.
No fireworks allowed in the area due to the highly valued properties of the wealthy neighbors in the area. Noise levels are restricted for USH to 10pm. There have been nights where park buyouts request late Waterworld shows after 10pm and they immediatly have to eliminate the horn on the Smokers boat and the catapault for the seaplane due to high noise levels.

USH will never have night shows or fireworks in the way Disney can. Universal needs to change the focas and do something different. That is that pull for nightlife at Citywalk. I think Citywalk can use a few more family friendly venues to help keep the park guests later.
Would you believe that USH had to turn off the floodlights on the back of the Terminator 2 building due to the neighbors on the hill complaining the building was too bright! This park is just in the wrong spot!

You know, reading restrictions like that make me furious. These 'wealthy' neighbors knew they would be living next to the world's largest backlot. What did they expect? For things to be as quiet as a suburban neighborhood. Give me a break. That's like living next to the 101 and complaining there's too many cars on the road.

Excuse my French, but these people are full of B.S. if they complain so often.

I think a World of Color type show would work...dont need fireworks. Just Movie clips, music, fire and water effects and maybe if they can some small fireworks. Universal has a good enough library of movies to make a good nightime show

Yeah, I mean I actually live directly and I mean DIRECTLY behind the 210 Freeway and I'm used to it. If Universal wants to build a Terminator roller coaster or have chainsaws out for HHN, then they should be told, "Suck it up and get used to it. You will eventually. You live right next to the world's largest backlot." What really sucks is that once they finish the condos and people move in there, they'll live close to the park than ever before and noise complaint levels will grow tighter. Ugh. No

Keep in mind, there's always the production side of the studio - but I see your point.
