We too are planning a trip to USH and are planning to do the VIP Experience in June. From what I have read and researched, it is going to be well worth it. We have not booked our day yet, is this something that we need to do this far in advance?

the earlier the better. Transformers Ride opens on May 25 so you can expect VIP tickets to book fast this summer.
