Annual Pass Priority Boarding
What exactly does "priority boarding" entail? Is there a special annual pass holder car? Do you get your own separate line? What's the dealio with these?

RE: Annual Pass Priority Boarding
Priority boarding only applies to the Studio Tour, and yes, you do get your own special line. This just means you get to wait in a shorter line than the general public.

On paper, the priority boarding is supposed to only apply to the premium pass holder, but employees have been known to let groups in based on one pass.

RE: Annual Pass Priority Boarding
They have become more forceful that the entire party needs a pass for each person. I was not happy with this change. it makes no sense for me to have priority boarding for just myself while the rest of my group goes into the normal line!!! I think it should be changed for a group of up to 6 with one pass.
The Annual Pass basically gets you into the "front of the Line" line. That is all.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the summer crowds rushing in. They're usually a bit more lenient when there's not much of a crowd.

I would at least make it up to four people......kinda sucks going with your friends then and they should want you to feel like bringing MORE friends to make MORE money

I agree they are more lenient during off peak. But then what is the point of having a Front of the Line option? Just take it off the Annual Pass altogether! Problem solved!

RE: Annual Pass Priority Boarding
I've had friends who were regular annual pass holders who simply flashed the backside of their tickets. Works most of the time.

As long as you carry any annual pass lanyard.
