Do you think Jurassic Park needs a refurb?

Do you think Jurassic Park needs a refurb?
Am I the only who notices the EXTREME state of disrepair in JP. Some Dinosaurs barely even move now. Such as the Raptors, (Dinosaur on cliff), and the long-necked one on the right. Well anyway, at first I had thought the ride was just that dated but looking back on older videos of JP particularly the ones before 2009, which happens to be when Backdraft closed. But the difference is like day and night. But I guess they cant afford to bring JP into a refurb right now as it would only leave one attraction in the bottom lot and bring MASSIVE lines to The Mummy. What do you guys think?

If they were going to update the animatronics then that wouldn't mean they would have to shut the ride down completely for that. I remeber about a year and a half ago they took the Stegosaurs on the ground out for repair or replacement.

"But, John. If the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don't eat the tourist." - Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park)

Mmm. Thats what I was thinking. Cayse they usually put a fence around them when they need to be fixed. Perhaps some wiring has gone bad/needs to be replaced or there are leaks in the pneumatic/hydraulic systems...
But I'm thinking maybe they just can't afford to fix it with Transformers construction going on.

RE: Do you think Jurassic Park needs a refurb?
Usually around this time of year, is when JP really starts to show its age. I believe in late January is when the scheduled maintenance for this ride takes place. They usually shut down the whole attraction when it’s too cold to ride. This is typically when they re-skin the dinosaurs and fix various things around the attraction. They all so seem to fix the timing (for awhile) on the final scene. I would agree that only having the ROTM in the lower lot what be interesting. I sure hope it gets some TLC.

I think The Mummy needs to have the original ending back with real fire effects!

Skillz is right with the mummy(back to the original). And JP needs upgrades and more out door effects. But this will most likely have to wait for Transformers to be done.

Hopefully they complete any major refurbs before Transformers is done. Bad show when one of your major attractions looks and feels dilapidated.

When the Jaws bridge is not being fixed due to the large effort and budget on TF, I highly doubt JP will get any love any time soon. :(
