Grinchmas in 2000

I remember going to that when I was about eight years old when they used that event to promote the film. In my opinion, it was much better than what they do now.

Back then, they had a Grinch's lair maze where House of Horrors was. The attraction had a tube slide in there for the kids to go down and the "big room" where Frankenstein's lab was involved the main room of the Grinch's lair like they had in the movie.

The Blues Brothers stage consisted of the "Whobilation" show. I don't remember seeing this show or know what they did here, but they probably recreated the scene from the movie or something of that nature. I do remember they had a mini parade for the Grinch characters to go through the park and make their way up to the stage.

Finally, this was my favorite part of the event: The snow slide. I remember I waited for about an hour and a half for this thing. They had me and my family go up there stairs, get in an inner tube, and slide down this "hill" where we would slide on actual snow, which felt more like crushed ice. They would have a snow machine to constantly keep the hill fresh. It was fun, but I don't know if it was worth that long of a wait. Despite that, it would be great if they brought this back someday.

Yeah, I remember that event. Think they had acrobatics at the Blues Brothers stage, but my mind is hazy at this point.
