How does it look for this weekend?

How are the crowds expected this weekend, 11th and 12th including Friday, which is a holiday for schools etc. We are coming from Arizona and cant change our plans even though it says it going to rain Friday and Saturday. Would that reduce the crowds and make it easier to see everything?

Since the park hours this weekend are from 10a-7p, I'd say it'd be a decent crowd. But because of the rain I don't expect wait times going over 45 minutes, which would probably be the Simpsons Ride's wait time because it is an indoor attraction.

In addition, if it does rain and if you plan on seeing Blues Brothers, Terminator, or the Animal Actors shows, I highly recommend that you stop by the Terminator attraction. This is because the BB and AA shows get rescheduled and moved into the Terminator theater. Also, if it there's a decent amount of rain and no special events inside the Globe Theater, they'll be serving free hot chocolate and coffee inside. They also show any Universal movie that they have on hand (another reason to be near Terminator).

Universal also offers a rain check ticket. Here's the info from their website: All guests visiting Universal Studios Hollywood on a day when the park receives over 1/8" of rainfall by 2:00 p.m. will be offered a rain check good any time in the following 30 days! In addition, on rainy days Universal Studios Hollywood offers designated covered and indoor rest areas in which complimentary coffee and hot chocolate are served. Plus our park characters stop by these rest areas to say "hello."

I really feel that the BB show and Animal should be inside the Globe theater with the coffe and hot chocolate. Dont detroy the Termiantor experience or set.
