T2:3D could be replaced by Despicable Me ride

A few birdies have told me that Shrek and Curious George will be bulldozed over for Harry Potter. Because of that, they will loose two family-friendly attractions. That is why Terminator will probably be replaced by a clone of the Despicable Me ride from USF.

Even though this is just a rumor at this point, it seems more likely the more I think about it.

Curious George - I can see demolished.
Shrek - Maybe, but they dont have to.
Terminator WILL NOT become Despicable Me. The venue for DM is far too small for the T2 venue. Terminator is safe unless Orlando does changes.
Despicable Me should go where the Monster Maze is now. Demolish the Victoria Station building and start fresh with a family friendly attraction.

I'm hearing rumors that T2 will be closed by Sept of this year. That area seem to the most likely for "Despicable Me"

No way. Despicable Me is not anywhere near as large as T2. Where is your source? I have been wrong before.

Personally, with the large amount of construction for Harry Potter, I doubt anything will be closed that would not be located where Potter will go. If Potter is indeed going to be placed on the top of the Frankenstein Parking Structure, then God help us all. If Potter takes the place of the Amphitheater, then T2 will have at least 5 more years of life left to it.
Like I mentioned with the "typical" Universal style...if Orlando does something with the attraction, we can bet that USH will follow. Any rumors on T2 closing in Orlando? I don't think so with the heavy amount of construction already going on there in other areas.

It sounds like this Terminator rumor is becoming truth. I guess its time to start seeing this show again before its gone forever!

Despicable Me should be replacing Shrek, but not until Potter opens at least. A new Terminator show will be replacing the old one. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that this is true because Despicable Me would be a waste of space for such a large building. Either way, I'm going to try to get my last shows in for Terminator.

Also, Potter is NOT going to be on top of Frankenstein. It's going where the Gibson is.

How about a MIB 3D Stunt show? MIB has a new movie so a stunt show feature screens lasers and a great preshow would fit perfectly plus not to much rethemeing to be done.

I agree with RHoop... a little.
I doubt if Terminator will be replaced with a new Terminator. However, I can see Terminator getting the similar treatment as Back to the Future.
I agree with Despicable Me possibly to replace Shrek. Although, 2015 for Despicable Me may be too late.
Again, I see that all of these attraction are in Orlando. Anything that Orlando does, USH will follow.
