Hollywood Or Florida?

RE: Hollywood Or Florida?
Wow, looking at the size of theater, I wonder how employees deal with seating guests. That's really cool that you managed to get your hands on those, especially the engineering drawings. May ask how you got your hands on those?

Please let me know via private message when you do plan to come to USH. This September I will be having my first child and have some extra time off. I can imagine your connections with Universal are great, but if you need any help, let me know.

BTW, are those Florida pics yours? Wow, those are good!

Nope, not my pics.

About going there, I'm going with 3 other people so I can imagine they want to spend time in other attractions too (mee too, I'm curious to Jurassic Park), so I don't know if they want to spend a lot of time with a "stranger," if you get what I mean.
My own connections with Universal Studios Hollywood are not that good, I emailed them a few times but only got 1 reply. I might try it again via our Terminator site, perhaps that will have more response.
I hope I can meet up with the cast somehow, like the way I had with T23D in Florida (see this video halfway http://www.terminatorfiles.com/media/promo/t23d.htm), or get some other special Terminator treatment. I also hope I can buy some new cool T23D collectibles in the shop.

RE: Hollywood Or Florida?
Please let me know when you are traveling, I would be more than welcome to help you get around USH. I have quite a few connections still at USH and could probably work something out with the Terminator attraction. Be prepared with the gift shop at USH for T2, its not full of many Terminator related gifts.
Jurassic Park at USH is the first Jurassic Park ride that was ever built. Therfore there are a few differences in the attraction, but it is also noticably smaller and older.
I recommend to spend all the time you can at Terminator. Hollywood attractions you should not miss are: Waterworld, Studio Tour, The Mummy, and Backdraft (Backdraft closes this September to make way for Transformers).
Everything else at USH is either a copy of Florida or not worth seeing.

RE: Hollywood Or Florida?
Let us know when you plan to go. September should be easier to talk to the actors since it's less busy than this month. I could talk to the supervisor and see what we can do for you.
Also Skillz is right - there's less Terminator merchandise since they weren't selling as well as the other stuff, but since Salvation came out we do have a few more new things along with several collectibles.

RE: Hollywood Or Florida?
Skillz and JDK, I will send you both a PM.

Too bad about the merchandise. Anyway, I think there will always be some T23D stuff over there that I don't have yet, so I will have some new collectibles to buy! :-)
