Your most fondest memory from Jurassic Park?
Quote:Your most fondest memory from Jurassic Park?

I’ve had a fair some of moments on the ride. Most memorable would have to be the E Stop. Someone on another boat did something that caused the cycle to stop. We stood just before the lift listening to that music on the radio for ten minutes before the problem could get resolved.

Waited 255 minutes to ride this when it first opened. The ride was closed down most of the day due to some technical difficulty.

The first couple years of its opening, I was too scared to ride (I was like 10 years old?). My mom made a deal with me if I go on the ride, I can quite piano lessons. Eventually I rode it, but couldn't quit until a couple years later. Thanks for showing me the wonders of promises ma!

Hmm, Well I must admit, this ride was the first acuall thrill ride I have ever taken.. and I'm 20.

my friend begged me for like 15 minutes, and I finally gave in..

Catch is, he told me the drop was small. HAH!

He didn't convince me to ride the Mummy though :) I sat that one out..

Yea, I'm a wimp.

Actually, now that I think of it, When I was 5 I fell asleep when my dad was carrying me, and he and my sister snuck on Splash mountain at Disneyland with me, and I woke up right at the peak...

So, this was my first ride on anything since the horrific even 15 years ago :)

I must say, It scared the Sh*t out of me!

RE: Your most fondest memory from Jurassic Park?
I remember waiting in Stage 28 on opening Day for JP:RA. That was the second time I rode it with a 4 hour wait due to the ride broke down twice while in line. This was June 1996.
My favorite time to ride would have to be at night. Only some are lucky enough to do this since USH is not open during night hours much during the year. I have been held at the top of the drop and watched the scene reset and start again. I remember when the Jeep was operated by a person behind the wall. I remember when the Jeep did not work at all for quite some time. I rememeber when mother Ultrasaur was out for repair for one full year. I also remember when the boats would slam down hard on the climb up and scare the living daylights out of me!!!

This ride had magic, its starting to lose some of its magic though. I feel that the animatronics are better in Orlando. Although, I find great parts with both versions, and we have the original.

I also remember when the boarding of the tram was where JP now stands!!!

RE: Your most fondest memory from Jurassic Park?
Exactly. That is why back in the day the Jeep would land at the right spot and hit the boat with a tidal wave of water. Now it only gets the first two rows wet.
