» What do they serve?: Hot dogs, burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes. Did we mention they serve hot dogs?
» Pricing: Moderate to expensive.
» Our take: One of the better venues in the park, Pink’s Hot Dogs actually provides a selection of food that differs from the rest of the park.
Unlike Mel’s Diner and Jurassic Cafe (which – for the most part – sell the same burger), Pink’s provides a unique selection of hog dogs and burgers. With such combinations as the Chicago Polish Dog or Pink’s Famous Chili Cheese Dog, Pink’s provides a pretty interesting take on the traditional hot dog. Plus, prices are pretty reasonable as well, making this our go-to place if we’re craving fast food fare.
» World Famous Hot Dogs: Pink’s Famous Chili cheese Dog (with mustard, chili, cheddar cheese and onions), Bacon Chili Cheese Dog (with mustard, onions, chili, cheddar cheese, bacon and tomato), Chicago Polish Dog (with mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, lettuce), Naked Dog, Chicken Caesar Salad.
» Pink’s Super Specials: Mulholland Drive Dog (with beef, grilled onions, mushrooms, nacho cheese and bacon) or the Bacon Burrito Dog (a tortilla wrapped around two hot dogs, cheddar cheese, cheese, bacon and Pink’s famous chili and onions), French Fries, Chili Fries, Nacho Chili Cheese Fries, Bacon Nacho Cheese Fries, Homemade Seasoned Potato Chips, Cup’o Nacho Cheese or B’bq Sauce.
» House Favorite Burgers: Pink’s Famous Chili Cheeseburger, Pink’s Turkey Cheeseburger and a Kid’s Meal (a Kid’s Hot Dog or Kid’s Chicken Tenders served with Apple Sauce, a Cookie and a Kid’s Drink).
