Whether it be near Jurassic Park or the Adventures of Curious George – you’ll have fun at Universal’s themed playgrounds.
Universal has two playgrounds located throughout the park – one wet (Curious George), one dry (Dino Play). Themed after Jurassic Park, Curious George and Coca-Cola, you and your child are bound to find something that suits your taste.
Curious George is the only playground which can attract an older group of children because of its size and intensity. Although Curious George has something for all ages, Dino Play is geared toward a very young audience of ages 5 and under only.
Duration: Play as long or as little as you want!
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes, ask for assistance.
Flash Photography and Video Taping Policy: Sure, why not. Just be careful of the water effects.
Height Restriction: Curious George does not have any restrictions, but Dino Play requires that all guests be under 48″.
Child Friendliness: Your kid will love this! Feel free to bring them along.
Is there really much to say beyond the fact that these are simply two playgrounds themed after Universal franchises?

Wow, a review of a playground. That’s a first for me.
But in all seriousness, The Adventures of Curious George and Dino Play are both excellently themed playgrounds based off of two Universal franchises: Curious George and Jurassic Park. While really nothing to write home about (again, these are playgrounds), these themed play areas are both an excellent way for you to run your child ragged while you sit down and relax for a few minutes. That’s not to say you should let Universal’s employees babysit your children, but it’s a great way to get a pause from the rush of the theme park world and let your child have fun while doing it.
Supervision is key, and we recommend that you keep an eye on your child at all times. We’ve outlined some safety tips above that you should take to heart – especially the rule requiring some form of footwear.
For those who wish to remain dry, there is also an indoor ball-pit with various air machines that you can use to shoot balls across the room. From what I’ve seen, the kids absolutely love it.
In short, if your child loves playgrounds – be sure to stop by. If not, there’s no worry.
