Gru’s Lab Cafe is located between Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and Super Silly Fun Land.
Menu
Gru’s Backyard BBQ Rotisserie Chicken
This plate comes in chicken basted in BBQ sauce served with steak fries and corn on the cobb.
Victor’s Grilled Cheese with Pulled Port and BBQ Sauce
A combination of BBQ pulled pork and grilled cheese served with steak fries and coleslaw.
El Macho’s Nachos
A combination of chips, chicken and cheese served in a tortilla bowl.
Minion Meatball Sandwich
A meatball sandwhich served with a side of caesar salad.
Dr. Nefario’s Lab Salad
A combination of udon noodles, greens, chicken and shrimp with Asian Ponzu dressing.
Chicken Tenders
Chicken tenders served with BBQ sauce, steak fries and coleslaw.
Stir-Fried Asian Chicken
Asian chicken served with steamed rice and vegetables.
Little Minion’s Meal
This kid’s meal comes with a small meatball slider or chicken tenders served with a side of apple sauce, mini graham cookies and a kid’s drink. You may also substitute soda with Minute Maid juice.
Desserts
Minion Cupcakes, brownies and rice krispies are available.
Fountain Drinks
Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Fuze, Barq’s, and Minute Maid are available.
Other Beverages
Powerade, imported beer and a draft pilsner are available as an extra menu option
Tips
Open seasonally
Unfortunately, Gru’s is only open on crowded days. If you come on a regular weekday, don’t expect Gru’s to be open.
Beat the crowds
Comparatively speaking, Gru’s Lab Cafe receives relatively modest foot traffic throughout the day. Its location next to Super Silly Fun Land towards the back end of the park makes it a good place to eat if you want to beat the crowds and avoid excess lines.
Need to find a seat?
While Gru’s Lab Cafe offers seating right outside the entrance of the restaurant, you can also find quieter seating located in the Parisian Courtyard area of the park.
