Hungry? Find the best spots to grab a bite.
Finding that perfect restaurant is always a challenging task – especially at a theme park. As a result, we’ve compiled a general guide detailing all the dining options available at Universal Studios Hollywood with a full profile for each full-fledged restaurant alongside additional notes for permanent stands and carts.
Small note: Universal divides the theme park into two main categories: the Upper Lot and the Lower Lot. Since none of the areas within the park are themed cohesively, we’ve organized Universal’s attractions based on these two “lots.” For more on the layout of the park, please check out our Start Here guide.
Upper Lot Restaurants
A magical restaurant based off the Harry Potter films, Three Broomsticks serves delicious, British-inspired plates and drinks in an immersive environment.
Step into the dreary and dark Hog’s Head Pub, the original meeting place of Dumbledore’s Army. Here you can enjoy any type of wizardly concoction you wish! This is the place to try the Wizarding World’s exclusive beers.
Boy oh boy, it’s a candy shop. Candy apples, sweets, and even a few novelties tossed in – Sweet Liberty is great for anyone who loves (or needs) a bit of sweetness in their life.
Gru’s Lab Cafe
Serving dishes inspired by the Despicable Me franchise, Gru’s Cafe offers a unique dining experience like no other.
Serving up hot dogs and burgers – Hollywood style! Plaza Grill offers a unique take on the traditional American fast food.
Cinnabon serves a variety of drinks and specialty pastries to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Have a delicious slice of pizza or a plate of pasta at Luigi’s!
A bar based off the popular Duff Beer Company featured in the Simpsons television show, Duff Brewery serves specialty draft beer only available at Universal Studios.
A fast-food chain run by Krusty the Clown, Krusty Burger offers delicious burgers with Krusty’s trademark care and attention.
Run by everyone’s favorite barman Moe Szyslak, Moe’s Tavern serves a variety of draft beer, Duff and the world-famous Flaming Moe’s!
Lower Lot Restaurants
Probably the busiest restaurant in the Lower Lot, Jurassic Cafe is a catch-all for a variety of food. It’s a great place to eat if you’re looking for typical theme park fare in the Lower Lot – with the added bonus of indoor seating.
Need a drink or a hot dog? Mummy Treats is a convenient way to pick up a hot meal, chips or a drink on-the-go.
