Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that the Death Eaters’ limited-time run has been extended until July 30, 2023, as part of the “Dark Art at Hogwarts Castle”. The Death Eaters will roam the village, looking to find others willing to show loyalty to the Dark Lord’s cause. Universal Orlando has announced Passholder Night is set to return on August 26, 2023 at Universal Islands of Adventure during Passholder Appreciation Days. More details will be available soon. Universal has opened a second retail store for their merchandise line, UNIVRS, on Hollywood Boulevard inside Universal Studios Florida. In addition, a new summer collection inspired by JAWS, Felix the Cat, and the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park is now available. UNIVRS replaces Silver Screen, with merch first arriving a few weeks ago. The first UNIVRS Store opened at CityWalk Hollywood in September 2022. Universal Orlando has closed Mel’s Drive-In Restaurant at Universal Studios Florida for refurbishment. No timeframe has been given for the refurbishment. Located in Hollywood, the American Graffiti-inspired 50s drive-in serves burgers and fries, chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, onion rings, root beer floats, and milkshakes. All festivities are included in the price of theme park admission.
