» Location: Tucked between Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem (coming soon) and Mel’s Diner, Hollywood Shoppe is wedged within Baker Street’s facade. You can also enter under the very large Palace facade – just look for the neon lights.
» Products: Oscars, shirts, hats and memorable Hollywood photographs.
» Our take: Think of the Hollywood Shoope as the home of classic Hollywood memorabilia. Fake Oscars adorn the store as famous photographs are displayed behind glass cages – all for sale, mind you – alongside laminated 8×10 prints and larger wall-sized prints of famous Universal movie posters. It also contains a special collection of Audrey Hepburn merchandise, from diaries to shirts, purses, and coffee cups coupled with a small set of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe merchandise as well. This store also carries a selection of clearance merchandise and Universal logo products.
» Worth a visit?: There’s nothing especially unique in here, so most guests may skip this store without hesitation. Just your typical “I love LA” fare that you can find elsewhere. It is a beautiful store, though.
