Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites is officially open at the Universal Orlando Resort.

Surfside Inn and Suites is Universal’s first Value Category hotel; and offers guests a relaxed and easy retreat, with a surf and beach vibe woven throughout the hotel. The 750-room hotel is the destination’s seventh property in partnership with Loews Hotels & Co.

Earlier in the month, Universal invited us out to get a tour of the resort while they were getting it ready for the opening, which you can read about here.

Surfside Inn and Suites will offer two different types of rooms: the standard room and the two-bedroom suite. The suites include two separate rooms, a kitchenette area, a picnic table, and bathroom; and can sleep up to sleep six.

Guests receive exclusive benefits including Early Park Admission to the theme parks, quick complimentary resort-wide shuttle bus transportation, charging privileges with their room key and more.

This casual dining food court, The Beach Break Cafe, will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Beach Break Cafe’s menu is very affordable, with most dishes under $12 – featuring breakfast pizzas, burgers, and power bowls, along with grab-and-go options. Since it is offered at such a low price point, the food is not made-to-order but ready-to-go.

Pipeline Burger, topped with caramelized onion, bacon jam and provolone cheese served with crisp lettuce and vine ripe tomatoes on a toasted bun.

Guests can also relax in the resort’s surfboard-shaped pool, and enjoy some refreshing drinks at the Sand Bar, the resort’s pool bar.

Additional hotel amenities include a Universal Orlando Vacation Planning Center, Universal Studios Store, Starbucks, game room and a fitness center.

Surfside Inn and Suites’ sister property, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, is scheduled to open in March 2020.
