CityWalk Hollywood

Work is continuing at the old Starbucks location, adjacent to Universal Cinema.

Universal is marketing the new film, Five Nights At Freddy’s, high above Citywalk.

Upper Lot Construction

Stage 56 and the Animal Actors stage have vanished completely in preparation for the new Fast and Furious coaster attraction.

The old sign is the last remnant of the park’s historic castle theater.

Trees are being cleared in spots on the hill in preparation for coaster construction.

Halloween Horror Nights 2023 Construction

Special lighting rigs have been installed at the entrance plaza.

Walls are down at the Parisian Courtyard, showing off the intricately detailed facade for Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America.

Down on the lower lot, The Last of Us continues to take shape as more scenic elements are being added.

Stranger Things and The Exorcist: Believer merchandise is now available for purchase.

The Terror Tram: Exterminatorz construction is ramping up with several facades appearing around behind the Bates Motel.

At the end of the War of the Worlds set, a large wooden subfloor has been installed for the finale of the attraction.

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Crews are starting work on the major refurbishment of the Earthquake attraction on the Studio Tour.

Work continues on the New York Street facade on the Upper Lot.

A neat little addition to the Studio Tour’s famous timeline drive, advertising which films are currently streaming on Peacock.

The Love is Universal merchandise promotion is still available thru the end of the month. 100% of the profits are donated to the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

You still have time to grab some Jurassic Park 30th anniversary merch, if you haven’t already.

That’ll do it for this month’s photo update. As always, we wish you well and thank you for following our continuing coverage of Universal Parks and Resorts.
