Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous reopens with new look, new menu at Islands of Adventure

Universal Orlando has reopened Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous in Islands of Adventure after nearly a half-year refurbishment with a new look, and a new menu.

Located in Seuss Landing, the restaurant is a colorful Seuss circus and features the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride! circling the big top.

The restaurant has ditched oranges and yellows for bolder, brighter reds with contrasting blues. The layout has also changed, including the removal of the kitchen area, which is now walled off, and a completely new seating layout.

The menu has transitioned away from spaghetti and fried chicken platters to more Seuss-inspired entrees and dishes.

Guests will now use the Universal Orlando app to mobile order at their table. Guests who do not have the app, or are not “tech-savvy”, do have the option to order at a counter. Once your order has been received, a team member will bring it to your table.

A mobile order pick-up window is also now available if you’re looking to grab your meal on the go.

During our visit, we tried the Big Top Burger, the Red Fish, Blue Fish, Poke Bowl, and the Chicken & Biscuit and enjoyed each dish.

We didn’t try the Roast Beast Sandwich, but that is technically a returning item from the Holiday Menu – and we highly recommend it.

We finished our meal with the Green Eggs & Ham Chocolate Cheesecake, which not only looked great but most importantly, tasted great.

Sneelocks Pink Lemonade was your standard lemonade, but the cold foam and collectible cup does add a bit of fun for kids to an otherwise traditional drink.

Here’s a look at the new menu below:
