Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that the Death Eaters will be returning to the Wizarding World for a limited time from July 1-16, 2023, as part of the “Dark Art at Hogwarts Castle”. The Death Eaters will roam the village, looking to find others willing to show loyalty to the Dark Lord’s cause. First appearing during Halloween Horror Nights 2022, Death Eaters are a group of Voldemort’s most devoted followers. Universal has opened a second retail store for their merchandise line, UNIVRS, on Hollywood Boulevard inside Universal Studios Florida. In addition, a new summer collection inspired by JAWS, Felix the Cat, and the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park is now available. UNIVRS replaces Silver Screen, with merch first arriving a few weeks ago. The first UNIVRS Store opened at CityWalk Hollywood in September 2022. Universal Orlando has closed Mel’s Drive-In Restaurant at Universal Studios Florida for refurbishment. No timeframe has been given for the refurbishment. Located in Hollywood, the American Graffiti-inspired 50s drive-in serves burgers and fries, chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, onion rings, root beer floats, and milkshakes. MonsterGram Pictures Studios has arrived at the All Hallows’ Eve Boutique in Universal Islands of Adventure for the Summer.
