From August 5-14, guests at Universal Studios Hollywood can experience From Coraline to Kubo: A Magical LAIKA Experience inside the Globe Theatre located next to Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem. The experience allows guests to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of some of LAIKA’s stop motion animated films, including Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls and Kubo and the Two Strings. Universal Studios Hollywood announced that Krampus, based off of the 2015 surprise hit horror film of the same name, will be coming to Halloween Horror Nights. The film is based off of the classic horror folklore Krampus – best described as half-goat, half-demon. The film centers on a dysfunctional family which appears to be losing their Christmas spirit. Krampus preys upon those who lose the holiday spirit and punishes them. Universal Studios Hollywood has just announced that Halloween II is coming to Halloween Horror Nights in a new maze titled Halloween: Hell Comes to Haddonfield. Based off of the 1981 film Halloween II, the film takes place directly after the end of the original 1978 film, centering around the younger sister of Michael Meyers, Laurie Strode.
