    1-Day General Admission

    The Universal box office

    What does it do?

1-Day General Admission is Universal Studios Hollywood’s baseline ticket. The 1-Day General Admission ticket allows you entrance into the park on your selected date only. You will have unlimited access to all rides and shows (excluding attractions and shows that may be closed for refurbishment at the time of your visit).

    Cost

$95-115 – Prices vary depending on your chosen date (Keep in mind, a $0.99 processing fee will be added to each ticket purchased at checkout.)

    Perks

Early Entry – you may enter the park one hour before opening on select dates if you purchase your ticket in advance.

    Save money!

UniversalStudiosHollywood.com usually provides discounts for tickets purchased in advance. Look for the colored dates on their online store to save $15-$20, which are typically on weekdays. Please keep in mind that there are no online discounts for tickets purchased on the same date of your visit.

    Important things to remember

It is extremely important to remember that this ticket is only valid on your chosen date. Just like with most online ticket transactions, there will be a $0.99 ticket processing fee for each ticket purchased, which is added at checkout.

Each ticket is only valid for the person named on it! This means the ticket cannot be copied, transferred or resold. Make sure each personal has proper identification. The Universal team member at the turnstile may ask for identification with each ticket.

Parking is not included, and these tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

    1-Day Anytime Admission

    What does it do?

For the same price of a ticket purchased at the Front Gate, you can enjoy a full day of your choice with unlimited access to rides, shows, and attractions (excluding those closed at the time). The 1-Day Anytime Admission ticket is valid on any single day prior to December 31, 2016.

    Cost

Adult Price (Ages 10+): $115) (Keep in mind, a $0.99 processing fee will be added to each ticket purchased at checkout.)

    Perks

Early Entry – you may enter the park one hour before opening on select dates if you purchase your ticket in advance.

Great gift for friends and family

Guaranteed admission for any date prior to December 31, 2016 with this ticket makes for a great gift for the movie and theme park lover. This ticket gives your friend or family member full choice of when they want to go to the park! With proper identification, all they need to do is bring their ticket straight to the turnstiles and enjoy a day full of fun and adventure.

    Important things to remember

Just like with most online ticket transactions, there will be a $0.99 ticket processing fee for each ticket purchased, which is added at checkout.

Each ticket is only valid for the person named on it! This means the ticket cannot be copied, transferred or resold. Make sure each person has proper identification. The employee at the turnstile may ask for identification with each ticket.

Parking is not included, and these tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

    Front of Line

    What does it do?

The Front of Line ticket gives you admission to the park and one-time, priority access to each ride, attraction, and show through their “Gate A” entrance.

    Cost

$179-$239 – Prices vary depending on your chosen date (Keep in mind, a $0.99 processing fee will be added to each ticket purchased at checkout).

Special discounted Front of Line passes may be available

During select days, Universal may offer a discounted a “After 2 PM FOL” or “After 4 PM FOL” pass, which allows guests to gain Front of Line access to shows and attractions after 2 or 4 PM respectively. Inquire with the Universal Box Office underneath Universal Plaza to see whether or not a discounted Front of Line pass may be available.

    Perks

Along with 1-day admission to the park, the Front of Line pass offers guest one-time Front of Line access to each attraction through the “Gate A” entrance as well as priority seating at each show.

Get the most out of your ticket

While the dates with the lowest prices are more appealing, this generally means that attendance on these days are low. We recommend looking at the 1-Day General Admission calendar first when deciding on a date. On average, the dates with a Purple color are expected to be higher in attendance. These are the dates that a Front of Line pass would be the most useful, allowing you to skip long lines at your favorite rides and attractions.

One-Time “Gate A” access per attraction only!

The Front of Line ticket only gives you access to each attraction’s “Gate A” entrance once, unlike the VIP Experience ticket, which gives you unlimited “Gate A” access. Keep this in mind when deciding which ticket to purchase!

    Important things to remember

It is extremely important to remember that this ticket is only valid on your chosen date. Unlike the VIP Experience pass, the Front of Line pass only allows one-time “Gate A” access per attraction and show. Just like with most online ticket transactions, there will be a $0.99 ticket processing fee for each ticket purchased, which is added at checkout.

Each ticket is only valid for the person named on it. This means the ticket cannot be copied, transferred or resold. The employee at the turnstile may ask for identification with each ticket. Parking is not included, and these tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

    VIP Experience

    The VIP Experience trolley

    What does it do?

The VIP Experience is quite literally an experience like none other offered at this park. Not only does it include 1-day admission into the park along with a variety of other perks. See below.

    Cost

Prices start at $299 and have no upper limit. Summer prices typically range in the mid-$300s or more.

    Perks

The VIP Experience includes 1-day admission into the park and include unlimited Front of Line access to all rides, shows, and attractions through their “Gate A” entrance, a personalized guided tour of both the park and the world famous Universal Studios back lot, continental breakfast and gourmet lunch in the exclusive VIP dining room and valet parking.

    What should I expect?

As mentioned above, you will first be greeted with a light continental breakfast. If your tour isn’t until later in the day, you can take advantage of your Front of Line access to rides and attractions! Just make sure you return at least 20 minutes prior to your tour. A typical tour group consists of 10-15 guests with one or two VIP tour guides. Once on your tour, you will be given a private look at the back lot on a special VIP trolley. When this tour is complete, you can either stay with your guide, who will take you around the park to all rides and attractions, or you’re free to roam on your own! Don’t forget your gourmet lunch in the private VIP dining room (your guide will announce its location). I promise this is not something you want to miss!
