Walls are now up around the Castle Theatre, aka Stage 56, where the Special Effects Show was held.
Original Story Below
After a few months of sitting dormant, construction walls have arrived and now surround the Animal Actors Soundstage, also known as Stage 57.
Meanwhile, the Castle Theatre, where the Special Effects Show was located, is still blocked off by barricades. However, we expect to see walls set up around the area soon as demolition should be commencing during the Summer.
Animal Actors and the Special Effects Show closed earlier this year in January.
No details have been given for what is replacing the shows other than the area is closing to make way for a “future attraction” and there will be “more to come in the months ahead.” A “Fast & Furious” roller coaster has been rumored for the area, but nothing has been confirmed by Universal.
