July 18, 2014 – In an effort to bolster its summer entertainment offerings inside Universal Plaza, Universal has added a new stage show titled CityBeat. The sixteen-minute a cappella interactive song and dance show brings together five talented artists and harmonizes them into one group – with three of the five singers are vying to win a singing competition. April 13, 2014 – As Inside Universal reported last week, Universal Studios Hollywood has completed the finishing touches on a new quick service restaurant dubbed Theatre Cafe. Taking place of the Hollywood Shoppe gift shop, the new eatery was unveiled last Friday as Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem was unveiled to members of the media and public. The new eatery provides healthy food options that include freshly made sandwiches, gourmet salads, specialty wraps, sushi and hot entrées.
