Here’s a look around at what’s happening at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, from November 27, 2023, to December 4, 2023.

Universal Orlando

The Holidays at Universal Orlando will run daily through Sunday, December 31. From the wondrous spectacle of “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, and coming face-to-face with everyone’s favorite green grouch, the Grinch, during Grinchmas, to gazing at the floats and larger-than-life balloons during Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, there are boundless opportunities for guests to enjoy at Universal Orlando this holiday season.

Minion Land – which includes Villain-Con Minion Blast, Minion Cafe, Bake My Day, Illumination Theater Meet & Greet, and Freeze Ray Pops – is officially open!

Refurbishments

Please keep in mind refurbishment dates can change.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem at Universal Studios Florida will be closed for 1-day on November 28, 2023. The ride is expected to reopen on November 29, 2023.

The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle is currently on an extended closure for “future show enhancements”. No reopening timeframe has been given at this time.

Universal Studios Hollywood

The Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood will run daily through  Monday, January 1, 2024. From the wondrous spectacle of “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, and coming face-to-face with everyone’s favorite green grouch, the Grinch, during Grinchmas; all holiday activities are included in the price of theme park admission.

Super Nintendo World is officially open! Reservations are not required, however, Universal will utilize a virtual queue system once the land reaches capacity. Make sure to download the official Universal Studios Hollywood app!

Refurbishments

Please keep in mind refurbishment dates can change.

The Earthquake portion of the Studio Tour is closed for refurbishment until Spring 2024. The Studio Tour remains open, but will now bypass that portion.
